Balanced Mind Counseling
Support for adults who struggle with self‑trust, emotional intensity, and patterns that limit confidence and independence. Virtual therapy in North Carolina. Insurance accepted.
About The Practice
Balanced Mind Counseling helps clients identify what isn’t working and build skills that support healthier daily functioning.
Therapy here is structured, evidence‑based, and centered on strengthening emotional regulation, reducing reactivity, and improving day‑to‑day functioning. Treatment blends practical skills with trauma‑informed work to support clearer patterns, steadier emotions, and a more independent, confident sense of self.

Getting Started
A quick guide to getting started and understanding your first session
Step 01
1. Reach Out
You can contact me through the website form or by email to share what you’re looking for and ask any questions you may have.
Step 02
2. Schedule Your Intake Session
The intake session is a 50 minute appointment where we review your history, clarify your goals, and identify the type of support that will be most helpful. This session sets the foundation for our work together.
Step 03
3. Begin Ongoing Therapy or Group Services
After the intake, we’ll decide on the next steps. This may include weekly individual therapy, joining the DBT Skills Group for Adults, or a combination of both, depending on your needs and preferences.
